Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the IDT product team on the GMD Weapon System. The role requires leading systems engineering activities, including requirements decomposition, design, and integration in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required.
• 5 years with bachelor's degree; 3 years with a master's degree in related field.
• Experience translating customer requirements into total system solutions.
• Familiar with Agile, MBSE and associated tools such as DOORS and Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements decomposition and system design.
• Lead system integration & test activities for the IDT product team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage progress and clear roadblocks.
• Apply MBSE and use DOORS for requirements tracing and validation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure verification and validation of requirements.
