RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for Tucson, AZ. This onsite role focuses on defining architecture, decomposing subsystems, and planning verification across software, hardware, safety, reliability, and manufacturing interfaces.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead peer reviews, and engage with the customer to ensure first-time correctness in missile and launcher programs within a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using Cameo MBSE for requirements and architecture.
• Ability to lead definition and verification across systems.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions & description documents, system integration, and system verification using Cameo by collaborating with multiple IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design information
• Work with Suppliers and the Supply Chain organization for procured items managed through the role of Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for that Assembly
• Support flight test activities both in potential field support, telemetry analysis post-flight, and writing test reports
• Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations
• Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines
• Support Statistical Process Control assessments in the factory and as part of hardware verification of missile sections and launch platforms as well as at higher level assemblies
• Lead peer reviews and formal release of CDRLs and Technical Data Package documents
