Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo to join our SETC programs. This onsite role focuses on architecture, requirements decomposition, verification planning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with software, hardware, safety, and manufacturing teams.

The candidate will drive MBSE-based system decomposition, oversee verification artifacts, and coordinate with chief engineers and SMEs to deliver robust missile and launcher solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo) for requirements decomposition.
• Experience leading system architecture using MBSE tools.
• Experience in at least 3 areas of the Systems-V model.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions & description documents, system integration, and system verification using Cameo.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and Supply Chain for procured items managed by REA.
• Support flight test activities including telemetry analysis and test reports.
• Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
• Lead technical discussions and plans of action with SMEs across engineering disciplines.
• Assist with Statistical Process Control assessments in factory and at level assemblies.
