Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide end-to-end systems engineering support for the C3BM division at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. On-site work is required with focus on architecture, integration, and interoperability within the DoD Battle Network.

The role emphasizes translating operational requirements into technical solutions, assessing risks, and coordinating with government stakeholders to ensure capabilities are delivered to operational users.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI later.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 20+ years of experience and 12+ years DoD-related experience.
• Systems Engineering across the acquisition lifecycle.
• DoD and USAF systems engineering experience.
• System-of-Systems Architecture Development.
• Mission Integration and Enterprise Architecture.
• Requirements Development and Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements analysis and architecture development.
• Translate operational requirements into technical requirements for the MIT.
• Participate in architecture definition to ensure interoperability across the DAF Battle Network.
• Review current DoD architecture models and support future-state architectures for sensor-to-shooter connectivity.
• Drive interoperability and integration across PEOs, weapon systems, and partners.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Support development of execution plans and transition requirements to the acquisition community.
• Contribute to test and evaluation strategies with acquisition and test organizations.
• Document current and future-state architectures driven by missions and engagement scenarios.
• Engage with joint and coalition stakeholders for integrated multi-domain architectures.
• Document ICAM requirements and evaluate ICAM solutions against criteria.
• Support Plans of Action and Milestones to address capability gaps.
• Draft and maintain ICAM strategy documentation and program-wide implementation activities.
• Prepare technical briefings, engineering docs, reports, and acquisition artifacts for leadership.
