Job summary

Makai, an NHO 8(a) that specializes in C5ISR and DoD systems integration, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the C3BM division. This 100% onsite role is based at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA, and entails working with Air Force and coalition partners to translate requirements into architectures and ensure system-of-systems interoperability.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in DoD programs.
• Must be a US citizen with TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Translate operational requirements into technical requirements for the Mission Integration Team (MIT).
• Develop integrated architectures and assess risks for interoperability across the DoD enterprise.
• Review current DoD architecture models and support development of future-state architectures.
• Support risk assessments and mitigate technical and programmatic risks.
