Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the C3BM initiative at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and 20+ years of DoD-related experience, including architecture and acquisition lifecycle expertise.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, strong leadership, and the ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions. The position is full-time with on-site responsibilities at Hanscom AFB.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret level clearance and be SCI eligible.
• Experience: 20+ years with 12+ years of DoD related experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Support Mission Integration Team activities by translating requirements into technical requirements.
• Participate in architecture definition to ensure integration across the DAF Battle Network.
• Review DoD architecture models and develop future-state architectures for sensor-to-shooter connectivity.
• Drive interoperability and integration across PEOs, weapon systems, and partners.
• Conduct capability risk assessments and support mitigation strategies.
