Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 4 years of related experience (3 in system safety).
• Master's degree in STEM with required system safety experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and verify system safety requirements to mitigate risk.
• Identify and mitigate spacecraft hazards per MIL-STD-882E.
• Prepare safety artifacts: SSPP, PHA, FHA, SHA/SSHA, FTA, SAR, MSPSP.
• Coordinate with Cross-IPTs and communicate safety risk to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review launch range safety docs per AFSPCMAN 91-710; support design reviews.
