Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Principal System Administrator in Columbia, Maryland for a full-time onsite role. You will support operations by maintaining, documenting, and administering enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities include creating system documentation, providing admin support, maintaining software and hardware, and assisting helpdesk activities. Active TS/SCI with poly is required. A Bachelor’s degree and 13 years of experience are required, with Security+ preferred.

• Demonstrate understanding of Red Hat Linux, Trusted Linux, Windows 10, VMware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop system documentation to include product guides/manuals, SOPs, work logs and the Helpdesk ticket system.
• Provide system administration support
• Provide maintenance and support of existing software and hardware.
• Provide helpdesk support for collecting, controlling and disseminating, documenting and resolving all IT related questions and problems.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop system documentation to include product guides/manuals, SOPs, work logs and the Helpdesk ticket system.
• Provide system administration support
• Provide maintenance and support of existing software (problem report/trouble tick resolution) and hardware.
• Provide helpdesk support for collecting, controlling and disseminating, documenting and resolving all IT related questions and problems.

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI with poly (#tssci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 13 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of Red Hat Linux, Trusted Linux, Windows 10, VMware.

Desired Qualifications

• Security+ or relevant certification.

Our Principal System Administrator's earn between $108,000 - $203,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
