Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, MD is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to maintain, document, and administer enterprise SQL Server environments in support of mission-critical IT systems.

You will design, implement, and optimize production databases, explore new technologies, and ensure high performance, availability, and security, with an active TS/SCI clearance and poly in a federal context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding and knowledge of: SQL Server, SharePoint Portal Server

Responsibilities

• Provide high performance, highly available and secure Microsoft SQL Server Database Services in direct support of the activities, business and mission needs.
• Directly participate in the design, engineering, implementation and modification to the production database environments backed by Microsoft SQL Server.
• Explore, investigate, research, analyze, assess, implement, and transition new technologies to an operational state to modernize and improve upon existing Microsoft SQL Server solutions.

Our Senior Database Administrator's earn between $89,200 - $184,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
