RTX is seeking a Principal Subsystem Engineer (IPTL) to lead a cross-disciplinary team in developing missile guidance electronics. The role focuses on architecture, requirements, integration, and test across RF, digital, and power domains. You will mentor teams, manage suppliers, and help with proposals and program plans.

The position is onsite in Tucson, AZ with relocation support. Expect travel and collaboration with government customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical hardware development, subsystems, and requirements.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through hardware product development lifecycles.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to teams and suppliers.
• Manage multiple programs and sometimes travel, including international travel.
• Support proposal development and architecture definition.
