RTX is seeking a Principal Subsystem Engineer (IPTL) for the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Team in Tucson, AZ. You will manage a cross-functional engineering team, provide technical guidance, and oversee suppliers to meet program commitments.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in electrical subsystems, architecture, and lifecycle engineering. Occasional travel and a 100% onsite work model are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience with electrical hardware development, subsystems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or requirement validation in antennas, analog RF circuit cards, digital circuit cards.
• An advanced degree may substitute for experience: Master’s equals 2 years, Ph.D. equals 4 years.

Responsabilidades

• Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, field work, or a combination.
• Guide a team through hardware systems lifecycle: designs and analysis; architect new electronic systems; develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans; peer reviews as SME; present to peers, management, and government customers; conduct root-cause failure investigations.
• Missile Systems culture emphasizes mentoring; employees are expected to mentor and be mentored.
• Support multiple programs as needed.
• Some travel may be required, including foreign travel.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team; collaborate with Functional and Program management; collaborate with Customer and Suppliers.
