Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems seeks a Structural Engineer or Principal Structural Engineer in Palmdale, CA on a 3/10 schedule. You will analyze structures, support MRB/ECR activities, and collaborate across disciplines to resolve defects while ensuring program objectives are met.

The role requires readiness for extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ideal candidates bring STEM degrees with relevant experience and familiarity with structural tools like FEMAP, NX, VisPro, MES, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience for level 2, or a Master's with no experience.
• For level 3, 5+ years with a Master's (3 years if STEM) or a PhD with no experience.
• Experience with MRB/LE authority and production/flight test environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as structural analysis authority for non-conformances on the STRIKE program.
• Dispost non-conformance tags and ECRs in MRB process and production/flight test.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams to craft effective solutions.
• Apply knowledge of composite and metallic structures and subsystems installations.
• Maintain MRB process integrity and engineering authority.
