Arrow Child & Family Ministries in Towson, MD seeks a Principal to serve as educational director, overseeing daily administration, coordination, and supervision of educational, behavioral, and related services, ensuring COMAR compliance and alignment with contracts and budgets.

The role requires a Master’s degree, at least five years of teaching experience with similar student populations, and at least three years of supervisory/administrative leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with a strong background in K-12 or equivalent educational leadership.
• At least five years of teaching experience with students similar to the school's population.
• At least three years of progressive supervisory and administrative leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the school climate and ensure safety and proper rules, addressing crises as needed.
• Design, schedule, implement, supervise, monitor, and assess professional development.
• Coordinate admissions processes, including policies, referrals review, and placement decisions.
• Communicate with instructional, resource, and clinical staff and with local school systems to ensure appropriate services; attend IEP team meetings.
• Oversee student scheduling, class assignments, transcript reviews, and implementation of educational and behavioral components.
• Monitor school documentation with the Administrative Team and Program Assistant.
• Oversee policy/procedure development, maintain files, and ensure COMAR compliance and program quality.
• Operate the educational program within budgetary guidelines.
• Complete all required reporting for internal use and MSDE.
• Inform the Associate VP of relevant situations and attend required trainings/meetings.
• Share Arrow Child & Family Ministries' mission and vision with staff, students, and families.
