Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree with an MSDE Advanced Professional license (Supervisor of Instruction endorsement), have at least three years of leadership experience, and be skilled in data-driven decision making,

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or institution.
• MSDE Advanced Professional license with an endorsement as Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal.
• Three years of leadership experience in an education setting or equivalent management role.
• Experience using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
• Experience in urban education environments preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching and learning practices; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to plan, supervise staff, and develop professional learning and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in developing, implementing, and evaluating instructional programs and activities.
• Promote student achievement, attendance, and school climate.
• Coordinate after school and summer programs as assigned.
• Assist in budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation using data analytics.
• Lead or participate in family, PTA/PTO, and community engagement efforts.
• Supervise and evaluate staff; develop and coordinate professional development.
