The role ensures COMAR compliance and fulfillment of contractual and budgetary obligations, while guiding staff and programs toward excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum five years teaching experience with similar student population.
• At least three years progressive supervisory/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administration and coordination of educational services.
• Monitor safety, scheduling, and compliance with COMAR and contracts.
• Lead professional development for staff and supervise program staff.
• Coordinate admissions, referrals, and placement decisions.
• Prepare reports for MSDE and internal use.
