About the role:

Job Role/ Designation: Principal Solutions Consultant (Snowflake & BI Architect – PowerBI/Tableau)

Location of Service: US (NJ)

What would you do;

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on the Snowflake and BI platforms.
• Lead discovery workshops to understand business challenges, data requirements, and current technology ecosystems.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Snowflake
• Design data model with calculated columns, measures, calculated with intuitive reports, dashboards using Power BI/Tableau.
• Optimize solutions for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead technical engagements, collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Guide data engineers, analysts, and developers in implementing best practices on Snowflake and BI tools.
• Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards within Snowflake & BI Platform environments.
• Keeping abreast with latest developments in the industry; evaluating and recommending new and emerging data architectures/patterns, technologies, and standards
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Snowflake and BI platforms for clients and within the organization
• Delivering and directing pre-sales engagements to prove functional capabilities (POC’s or POV’s)
• Develop and deliver workshops, webinars, and technical presentations on Snowflake & BI tool capabilities.
• Create white papers, case studies, and reusable artifacts to showcase our company’s Snowflake’s value proposition.
• Build strong relationships with Snowflake partnership teams including their product managers and solution architects, contributing to co-marketing and joint go-to-market strategies.

Business Development Support:

• Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical guidance and front end the technical engagement during RFP responses and solutioning.
• Work with the client engagement team to pro-actively identify upsell & cross-sell opportunities by showcasing Snowflake and BI potential.

What will you bring;

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics roles, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and any PowerBI/Tableau
• Experience with BI/Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions across industries.
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles, particularly with enterprise customers.
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture principles, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expert knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data sharing, performance optimization, and data security.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., DBT, Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, Talend).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, and ELT pipeline development.
• Understanding of cloud-native services for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).
