Base-2 Solutions is recruiting a seasoned software engineer to join our defense-focused team at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role emphasizes building next-generation analytics, large-scale systems, and secure software across a variety of languages and platforms to support national defense objectives.

You will work on diverse projects, lead and collaborate with teams, and contribute to design choices including COTS/GOTS, software reuse, and architecture-level analysis.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of software engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Prepares design input and evaluates trade-offs for system components.
• Experience with Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby and Go.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, Visual Studio and VS Code.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
