Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Cortex Attack Surface Management team. You will design and scale distributed systems, build high-throughput ingestion pipelines, and APIs turning signals into actionable intelligence for security teams.

You will lead architecture discussions, collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality output, and own projects from design through production, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, deploying and supporting scalable systems.
• Proficiency in Python and Go programming languages.
• Experience with API design including RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ability to lead across research, design, prototyping and implementation phases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing, plus agile methodologies.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure), preferably GCP.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain core services and data pipelines for Cortex.
• Lead architecture discussions to design scalable solutions across Cortex modules.
