Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior software engineer to drive the development of highly scalable, real-time distributed cloud security systems and define robust architectures in San Francisco.

You will lead end-to-end execution across the software development lifecycle, mentor senior and junior engineers, and apply expertise in C, Go, networking, and distributed systems to deliver secure, high-performance services.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C, strong proficiency in Go, and deep expertise in networking and distributed systems.
