Imagine Pediatrics in Houston seeks a Principal Software Engineer to shape technical strategy across engineering, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership. You will drive architectural vision, define standards, and guide cross-team initiatives.

You will mentor senior engineers, champion AI adoption, collaborate with product and clinical teams, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliable, scalable digital products for our clinical teams and members.

Qualifications

• Experience defining architectural standards and mentoring engineers.
• Track record of setting technical strategy across multiple teams.
• Strong front-end and back-end knowledge, APIs and services.
• Experience hosting services on AWS and healthcare domain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term technical strategy and translate business goals into a technical vision.
• Define architectural standards and drive long-term strategy across the org.
• Coach engineers and mentor staff+ and senior engineers.
• Champion AI adoption across engineering and products.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide senior production support.
