Imagine Pediatrics in Texas is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build and support our digital product suite with a focus on scale, stability, and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and members.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate goals into architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable solutions using modern technologies in a fast-paced healthcare startup.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end applications, APIs, and back-end services.
• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience delivering mobile apps to Apple and Google Play is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare or virtual care strongly preferred.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support the digital product suite with a focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and members.
• Be an effective communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate business goals to technical architecture and requirements.
• Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products.
• Estimate product scope and timelines.
• Lead and mentor other software engineers to follow best practices.
• Produce scalable, maintainable software solutions using modern technologies.
