Job summary

enGen seeks a Principal Software Engineer to build scalable, public-facing digital member experiences. You will own end-to-end software delivery across client experiences, API gateways, and backend services while ensuring PHI security and compliance.

You will define service topologies, drive vendor migrations, and author ADRs for leadership reviews, balancing business needs with robust, secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of technical and business problems ensuring scalability, performance, security, and robustness.
• Generate and evaluate technical solutions, monitor progress against roadmap, safeguard functionality and performance.
• Explore new technologies and architectural concepts to keep products cutting-edge.
• Participate in high-level development estimations to ensure roadmap alignment.
• Present solutions to team and management to drive technical implementations.
• Mentor and provide leadership to other software engineers.
