Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to design and deliver next-generation distributed platforms powering global cross-border payments. Telecommuting up to 3 days/week in the Seattle area with manager approval.

You will lead architectural decisions, drive multi-year roadmaps, and provide technical leadership across multiple teams to ensure scalable, auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive technical design, delivery, and monitoring of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, reliable payment systems for global markets.
• Influence multi-year technical roadmaps and drive cross-team initiatives.
• Set and communicate the technical vision with product, compliance, and engineering teams.
