Job summary

Abacus Insights is seeking a Principal Software Architect to set the technical vision for our healthcare data platform. This senior IC will translate business needs into target-state architectures across data, applications, cloud, and agent-assisted engineering.

You’ll design reusable foundations, establish standards for multi-tenant SaaS in AWS/Azure, and mentor engineers and Solution Architects while collaborating with Security, Compliance, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with senior architecture leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve reference architecture for data solutions and SaaS patterns.
• Set architecture standards for scalable, secure, compliant cloud systems.
• Guide HITRUST/GovRamp alignment and governance with Security/Compliance.
• Own the design system and front-end UX standards for Data Solutions apps.
• Translate architecture standards into reusable patterns and developer tooling.
