Job summary

Roblox in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to set and execute Roblox's enterprise security strategy across corporate infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and govern security solutions, scaling them with low-code automation while protecting AI agents and workflows.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive secure-by-design adoption across IT, Corporate Engineering, DevOps, and business units.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security experience with cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/agentic systems and risk controls.
• Working knowledge of IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM.
• Experience with low-code/no-code orchestration platforms.
• Deep knowledge of endpoint, SaaS, and supply chain security controls and risk management.
• Knowledge of zero trust and frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Ability to read and write scripts for automation (Python or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security strategy across Endpoint Security, SaaS Security, Supply Chain Security, and IAM.
• Lead AI and agentic security governance, threat models, and guardrails for AI tooling.
• Evaluate vendor solutions, run build-vs-buy analyses, and integrate platforms.
• Automate security workflows with low-code/no-code while minimizing custom scripts.
• Drive secure-by-design adoption with IT, Engineering, DevOps, and business teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead threat modeling and security reviews.
