Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to drive the technical security vision for systems, data, and patients. You will partner with Engineering on DevSecOps and security architecture, staying hands-on while raising the security bar across the organization.

You will define and implement cloud and identity security across Azure/EntraID and AWS, supervise incident response, and ensure compliance with HITRUST, HIPAA, and NIST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is desired.
• Experience in healthcare security environment is a plus.
• Hands-on security engineering with cloud and app security focus.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision for security stack across endpoint, email, data loss prevention, and more.
• Define cloud and identity security strategy across Azure/EntraID and AWS.
• Lead security architecture reviews and threat modeling for systems and data platforms.
• Define DevSecOps strategy and security gates across SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for major security incidents and exercises.
• Monitor evolving healthcare threat landscape and advise on risk.
• Demonstrate security posture to payors, regulators, and auditors.
