Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Principal Engineer for RF and Optical System Integration & Verification in the Emerging Systems unit. You will own end‑to‑end I&V for the Terawave payloads, terminals, and ground segments, guiding cross‑functional teams and driving advanced verification across lab, hardware, and on‑orbit validation.

You will lead architecture, trade studies, and performance verification, applying Python/C/C++ tooling, HITL emulation, and automated test strategies to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration and verification architecture for RF/optical system areas and represent them in cross‑team discussions.
• Lead lab and field bring‑up, RF/optical line‑up, and test infrastructure for links and terminals.
• Model test strategies across HITL emulation, environmental campaigns, and on‑orbit validation.
• Provide mentoring and technical direction across teams and ensure verification against requirements.
