Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead RF subassembly design and integration for a tactical missile program. You will design RF/Digital technology that meets stringent mechanical constraints and environmental requirements, collaborating with power, digital, and mechanical teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field is required.
• 8+ years of RF experience including receivers, downconverters, and frequency synthesizers.
• Experience in RF, analog, digital and power electronics design, integration and test.
• Proficiency with RF measurement tools and instruments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical guidance to ensure RF efforts meet program goals and requirements.
• Design receivers, converters, and signal processors.
• Design RF/CCA with RF or mixed signals.
• Create and review CCA documentation (analyses, schematics, interfaces, test plans).
• Perform schematic capture and RF routing reviews.
• Partner with power, digital, mechanical teams; work in a lab for characterization and verification.
• Conduct RF CCA/module checkout per test plan and requirements matrix.
• Ensure compliance with technical performance standards; travel periodically.
