Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Principal Research Scientist in Indianapolis, IN for a Biotechnology client. The role centers on injectable products, analytical development, and advancing late-stage programs.

You will design formulation strategies, mentor scientists, and drive cross-functional collaboration with Device, Quality, and Regulatory teams, supporting IND/BLA submissions and transfers to CDMO sites.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a highly related scientific discipline.
• 10 years of progressive industrial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector with late-stage deliverables.
• Experience in developing sterile injectable dosage forms from early stage to commercialization.
• Experience developing and evaluating drug-device combination products under relevant design controls.
• Success developing and transferring injectable drug product processes.
• Strong technical writing capability and a proven ability to effectively work with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Estimated Min Rate: $150,000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $170,000.00
