Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, presents an excellent long-term Operational Project Manager opportunity in Swiftwater, PA within a major pharmaceutical client. The role requires a BS or project management experience in pharma, with a full-time M-F schedule and potential evenings or overtime.

You will manage end-to-end clinical testing programs, develop timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in biological sciences or project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience in research and /or laboratory setting.
• Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, interfacing with multiple functions and external partners.
• Good organizationaland prioritizationskills.
• Team player on receiving and sharing knowledge/expertise in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

Yoh presents an excellent long-term Operational Project Manager opportunity with a trusted, long-term client located in Swiftwater, PA.

This position is part of a major pharmaceutical company, and requires a Bachelors of Science or project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

Schedule is full-time M-F (7am-8am start time, 8 hour shift) and may require flexibility to work some evenings and overtime due to projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution & Delivery

• Provide end-to-end project management and operational support for clinical testing activities across platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated project timelines and key milestones from sample collection through final data delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment of testing strategies, operational plans, and program timelines.
• Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and operational bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive issue resolution and escalation to maintain project timelines and delivery commitments.
• Support operational readiness activities for new studies, assays, and testing programs.

Performance Management & Operational Excellence

• Monitor clinical testing cycle times and operational performance using established performance management tools and dashboards.
• Track key performance indicators from last patient visit through sample collection, testing, and final data release.
• Evaluate performance against established targets and identify root causes when targets are not achieved.
• Analyze trends and implement process improvements to improve testing efficiency, predictability, and throughput.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders and leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead routine project meetings and operational reviews to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across internal teams to support project execution.
• Establish and maintain effective communication pathways for escalation of critical issues and risks.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to drive accountability and timely decision-making.

Budget, Capacity & Resource Planning

• Monitor budget allocation and expenditure across supported testing programs.
• Track platform capacity, inventory levels, reagent availability, and resource requirements.
• Partner with Functional Business Planners and platform leaders to support forecasting and resource planning activities.
• Communicate budget status, capacity constraints, and inventory risks to stakeholders.
• Support development of financial forecasts and resource planning models.

Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
