YOH Services LLC is seeking a capable chemist in Indianapolis, Indiana to perform wet chemistry analyses, prepare formulations, and support R&D testing. You will operate and calibrate HPLC systems, analyze data, and ensure instruments are well maintained. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and teamwork within a dynamic lab environment.

The position requires a B.S. in a relevant science, with 2+ years in analytical chemistry and practical HPLC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Experience or training in analytical and wet chemistry with lab instrumentation (2 years preferred).
• Drug process or formulation experience.
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles.
• Experience with HPLC operation and chromatographic methods.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry analyses including pH, osmolality, and HPLC.
• Prepare laboratory solutions such as buffers, drug formulations and mobile phases.
• Conduct routine testing on raw materials and finished products for R&D purposes.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including HPLC, and other analytical instruments.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate supply ordering, and ensure readiness of laboratory materials.
• Perform data analysis and utilize data acquisition and instrument operating software.
