Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate to join our Staff & Strategy Professional Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team. You will source and build pipelines for Data Science and Data Analysis roles, manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle, and advise partners on the process.

You will partner with hiring managers and stakeholders, use data to track hiring results, and promote inclusive sourcing strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting OR 3 years in HR OR 3 years in client consulting.
• PHR certification (preferred).
• 4+ years in Corporate Recruiting - full life cycle, research, and sourcing.
• 1+ year of technical recruiting experience.
• 4+ years consulting with multiple hiring managers.
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent.
• Experience in compensation and HR requirements related to hiring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand DS & DA talent needs.
• Manage full lifecycle recruiting and hiring deliverables, including job descriptions, sourcing, and offers.
• Candidate management from identification to offer extension and closing.
• Work cross-functionally with recruiters to promote a culture of inclusion.
• Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results.
• Source stellar candidates using diverse channels and innovative sourcing techniques.
