Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Principal, R&D Learning Products & Enablement, a senior individual-contributor role to define and drive the future of learning capabilities for R&D teams in the United States. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical product management, technical program management, developer enablement, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience working with software engineering, product, data, or AI teams to deliver technical products or enablement solutions.
• Experience partnering with engineers, technical leaders, and technology providers.
• Hands-on experience creating prototypes or self-service solutions using APIs, low-code platforms, or AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define the R&D learning-products and enablement strategy, roadmap, service model, and success measures.
• Build relationships across R&D and conduct discovery to identify essential capabilities and knowledge needs.
• Diagnose whether solutions should be learning experiences, knowledge resources, automation, tools, or communities.
• Stay current on AI models, developer tools, and technologies; translate into practical adoption strategies.
• Develop requirements, user stories, and implementation plans for engineering or technology teams.
• Lead complex programs from discovery through launch and adoption with clear ownership and milestones.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and partners.
