Job summary

Omega Technical Services, Inc. in Aiken, SC, seeks a Principal Engineer - Quality Control / Quality Assurance to lead QA programs across DOE/DoD projects. The role defines quality engineering scopes, develops QA procedures, and guides engineers to ensure compliance and timely results.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of QA/engineering experience, holds a technical BS, and can obtain a DOE clearance. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

8–10 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in operations, maintenance, construction or manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives and guide junior engineers.
Willingness to obtain and maintain DOE/DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

Define scope of technical and quality programs and develop QA solutions for complex problems.
Provide leadership in applying engineering and QA principles across programs; evaluate results and recommend improvements.
Develop QA plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans to meet project requirements.
Serve on boards and reviews to support facility start-up or operation and procurement activities.
Communicate objectives and results to customers and management; prepare technical reports and papers.
