Job summary

SAP Taulia is seeking a hands-on principal quality engineer to lead cross-team quality across multiple engineering groups. You will write production-grade test code and build reusable tooling, aligning with domain-specific frameworks and security standards.

You will drive improvements in test coverage, data privacy, and release confidence, partnering with senior engineers and directors to elevate overall product quality.

Qualifications

• Expert in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to write production-grade code in more than one language.
• Advanced knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases, release pipelines, and monitoring.
• Architectural literacy: ability to critique technical designs.
• Ability to influence quality risk decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own testing for projects spanning two or more teams, from planning to execution.
• Build reusable test data and environment tooling for teams to run themselves.
• Identify and cover quality risks that cut across teams.
• Drive migration from legacy end-to-end suites to per-domain frameworks.
• Work with principal quality engineers and engineering directors on org-level quality initiatives.
