LawnStarter seeks a Principal Quality Engineer to own the QA standards, tooling, and strategy across the engineering org. You will lead AI-native tooling adoption, guide QA across squads, and influence how quality is built into every release.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role with future growth into direct QA leadership as the squad scales. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll shape the program, drive continuous improvement, and ensure production quality signals are actionable

Qualifications

• Be hands-on with pipelines, tooling, and AI-native capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the quality strategy with the QA team.
• Define test strategy across the stack (unit to performance).
• Develop and deploy AI-native quality tooling for the org.
• Oversee CI/CD and test infrastructure, gates, and dashboards.
• Produce production quality signals and incident-linked dashboards.
• Provide technical mentorship across QA across all squads.
