RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer – Propulsion in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on propulsion system integration for missile and space vehicles, spanning development and production programs.

You will work with management to present technical capabilities and directions, interface with customers, and travel as needed. The position requires a STEM degree with 8+ years in propulsion or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
• 8+ years propulsion technology experience and its application to propulsion systems.
• Experience developing solid propulsion systems from concept to testing/assembly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (US citizenship required).

Aufgaben

• Apply advanced technologies to propulsion system integration for missiles and space vehicles.
• Lead development and production programs across Raytheon product lines.
• Review manufacturing processes and resolve issues with subcontractors.
