Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead mobile products and an agentic AI communication platform, shaping how students, faculty, and staff interact with the university in a mobile-first world.

You will define how mobile experience and intelligent agents come together to deliver seamless, trustworthy, and human-centered digital interactions, while advancing cohesive, scalable platforms that augment human capability and uphold institutional values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ten years of experience in product management or related field.
• Experience leading mobile product strategy (native apps, responsive platforms, or mobile-first ecosystems).
• Experience launching or scaling AI-enabled products and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University’s Mobile Strategy and evolve a comprehensive mobile product roadmap.
• Shape vision and roadmap for AI-powered communication agent enhancing user decision-making and guidance.
• Integrate AI capabilities within mobile experiences for proactive, context-aware support.
• Define long-term strategy for adaptive platforms prioritizing interoperability, accessibility, privacy, and trust.
• Translate institutional goals into product visions, roadmaps, and outcome-based metrics.
• Lead cross-system initiatives across departments and user groups with clear ownership.
• Establish responsible AI adoption principles—transparency, bias mitigation, data stewardship.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, research, data, and leadership to align on sequencing and trade-offs.
• Mentor and elevate product leaders to think systemically with strong ownership.
• Strengthen product discovery, validation, experimentation, and delivery practices.
