Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide strategy and delivery of digital healthcare solutions for members. You will shape how millions access benefits and advocate for scalable, member-centric products, including AI-enabled experiences.

You will partner with stakeholders to deliver clear requirements and ensure high-quality implementation with engineering and QA. Leadership emphasis includes governance, KPI-driven prioritization, and continuous learning to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience contributing to product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution aligned with business, customer, and user needs.
Ability to translate customer, business, regulatory, and workflow needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, expected system behavior, and backlog priorities.
Proficiency working with engineering and QA on technical product delivery, including APIs, integrations, data flows, permissions, system behavior, dependencies, reliability considerations, and delivery trade-offs.
Portfolio-level thinking with investment prioritization across multiple product areas/domains.
Experience defining operating models/governance (intake, prioritization, decision rights, KPIs).
