Job summary

Gusto is seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Reporting team to own the end-to-end roadmap across web, mobile, and embedded experiences. You will partner with engineering, design, and data to deliver AI-enabled reporting capabilities that improve customer outcomes for small businesses.

You’ll drive data infrastructure initiatives, define metrics, and collaborate with Pay and Benefits teams to deliver compelling, integrated reporting journeys that reveal insights and enable smarter

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on product management experience.
• Experience with data products, analytics tools, reporting platforms, or infrastructure products.
• Demonstrated track record of shipping customer-facing improvements at pace.
• Experience with AI-powered features or data experiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, design, and data partners.
• Ability to balance back-end platform maturity with a strong front-end customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy and roadmap end-to-end for Reporting across web, mobile, and embedded surfaces.
• Define a clear, compelling vision for reporting and AI-driven answers.
• Ship customer-facing value each cycle, balancing basics with future swings.
• Partner with other product teams (e.g., Pay and Benefits) to deliver end-to-end reporting capabilities.
• Drive data infrastructure progress and translate back-end work into customer-facing capabilities.
• Set up and track leading metrics to measure reporting quality and customer satisfaction.
• Raise collaboration standards and treat partner teams as customers.
