Job summary

Gusto is seeking a Product Manager to lead the transformation of its benefits administration platform, powering benefits for tens of thousands of SMBs and their employees. You will own workflows after benefit selections, including carrier enrollments, statuses, and visibility, spanning agentic processes, customer experiences, internal tooling, and carrier integrations.

The role requires 8+ years of product management experience and a track record of leading large, cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, ideally with experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Systems thinker with experience in AI-driven workflows, operations platforms, and process transformation; Benefits experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ownership: Lead long-term strategy, drive research, define positioning, shape product direction and investments.
• North Star: Focus the org on high-leverage bets to unlock long-term success and differentiating capabilities.
• Collaborate: Partner across product, engineering, compliance, legal, CX, marketing, sales and operations for alignment.
• Accelerate Execution: Address high-priority gaps, clarify requirements, kickoff strategic initiatives and drive momentum.
