Job summary

Jabil in Austin, TX is seeking a Principal Product Engineer to lead the Cloud and Hyperscale Platforms program, guiding hardware/software/firmware direction for AI/ML accelerators and storage servers. The role emphasizes strong technical leadership across multiple domains and collaboration with customers and partners.

You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure top-tier performance, reliability, and manufacturability, with travel up to 40% and relocation support

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required.
• 12+ years' experience in a hardware product development environment with enterprise server, storage or networking products.
• Experience and deep level of understanding of server, storage, networking and GPGPU and PCIe-based accelerator architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead product introductions and manufacturing performance for new AI/ML and GPGPU platforms.
• Organize cross-functional teams to drive solutions across hardware, software, firmware, and performance areas.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to all organizational levels.
• Provide leadership and engineering support across multiple manufacturing sites.
