Dow Jones & Company, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Designer for Market Data to own the design strategy for real-time quotes, charts, watchlists, and data visualization across The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and Investor's Business Daily.

This senior IC will drive patterns and patterns across brands while maintaining consistency and quality of data experiences. You will influence senior leadership, define patterns in the Index Design System, and mentor other designers,

• 10+ years of product design experience across multiple brands

Responsibilities

• Own the design strategy for the Market Data platform across our financial brands.
• Shape strategy with senior leadership and build cross-brand partnerships across brands.
• Solve hard, ambiguous problems in presenting complex financial information across multiple brands.
• Shape the market-data patterns in our Index Design System and establish standards.
• Extend influence to professional and enterprise products with data-driven experiences.
• Set a high bar for craft: typography, density, accessibility across complex data.
• Connect design to outcomes with research and analytics to drive engagement and retention.
• Mentor and grow senior designers across the financial brands.
