Dow Jones is seeking a Principal Product Designer to own design strategy for WSJ enterprise products. This senior IC role sets direction for growth areas, mentors designers, and ensures alignment across design, product, and business leaders.

You will integrate enterprise requirements with consumer-grade craft, contribute to design systems, and partner with analytics to measure impact on engagement and revenue. Report to the SVP of Product Design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience shaping complex projects.
• Experience across enterprise and consumer product design.
• Proven impact across multiple products or audiences.
• Strong design-system and pattern-setting skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams.

Responsibilities

• Set design direction for enterprise experiences and align to business outcomes.
• Shape strategy with leadership and translate design strategy to roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor senior designers across professional and consumer brands.
• Contribute to the Index Design System and establish patterns.
• Partner with research and analytics to tie decisions to engagement and revenue.
• Create clarity in ambiguous problems and deliver design solutions.
• Own the cross-product design quality and ensure accessibility standards.
