Job summary

Fetch is seeking a Principal Product Designer to shape the long-term experience direction for discovery, understanding, and actions around earning. You will lead connected experiences across Home, Search, Navigation, and Earnings, ensuring a unified, relevant, and rewarding system.

You will own quality and outcomes, setting patterns and decision frameworks for teams. This senior individual-contributor role moves from vision to hands-on design, prototyping, launch, and iteration, with the option

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product design experience.
• Experience leading multi-quarter product initiatives across teams or journeys.
• Ownership of measurable customer and business outcomes for a broad product area.
• Expertise in information architecture, navigation, discovery, and systems thinking.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear direction and testable hypotheses.
• Experience influencing senior Product and Engineering leaders on strategy and trade-offs.
• Habit of partnering with Research to validate directions before engineering investment.
• Established standards and patterns that improved product quality and team effectiveness.
• Exceptional interaction and visual design craft with a focus on usability and accessibility.
• Mentors designers and raises the quality of critique and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-quarter initiatives across Home, Search, Navigation, and Earnings to create a unified discovery and earnings experience.
• Set architecture for the earning journey, including information hierarchy and navigation.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify opportunities and shape roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs.
• Create frameworks balancing user value, business goals, tech constraints, and personalization.
• Define experiments for new earning opportunities and drive rapid learning.
• Collaborate with Research to uncover unmet needs and validate new directions.
• Raise usability, accessibility, and design-system quality across the product area.
• Turn recurring problems into reusable patterns, principles, and tools.
• Communicate design strategy through writing and conversation for leadership decisions.
• Mentor and elevate the design team through critique and scalable practices.
