Job summary

Amazon is seeking a design leader to craft new, high-value customer experiences for a global automotive discovery and shopping platform. You will shape product direction by leveraging customer insights, data narratives and cross-functional influence, mentoring a team of designers and presenting to senior leadership.

You’ll own the UX strategy, design experimental campaigns, and deliver end-to-end flows for web and mobile interfaces, balancing customer needs with dealer and partner requirements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Experience delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
• Have an online portfolio or samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile.
• Experience prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
• Experience designing for international markets and localization.

Responsibilities

• Create elegant and intuitive, multi-modal user experiences incorporating insights, requirements and technical constraints.
• Lead the planning and strategic phases of a project with strong rationale for new CX ideas.
• Create user flows, wireframes and lo-fi prototypes with detailed visual specs for web and mobile.
• Independently deliver UX solutions for problems of large scope and complexity.
• Mentor and lead other designers within the team.
• Present design work to UX, Product, Engineering and senior leadership.
• Contribute to UX guidelines and best practices within Amazon Design Community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad integration strategies to enhance customer experience.
• Design experiences balancing end-customer and dealer/partner requirements in a B2B2C marketplace.
