Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Product Architecture Engineer for DRAM to help define how memory technologies enable AI training and inference platforms. You will translate system challenges into DRAM solutions while influencing customer designs and Micron’s product roadmap.

You will explore architectures, engage customers, and pathfind AI-focused designs using LPDDR/DDR technologies, mentoring juniors as you contribute to high-performance systems and product strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product engineering or product architecture.
• Familiarity with DRAM architectures, including LPDDR and/or DDR technologies.
• Understanding of memory hierarchy, memory controllers, and PHY fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

As a Product Architecture Engineer for DRAM, you will play a key role in defining how Micron memory technologies enable AI training and inference platforms. This role blends deep technical exploration with industry engagement and internal collaboration. You will help translate system-level challenges into differentiated DRAM solutions while influencing both customer designs and Micron’s product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Explore and evaluate system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping tools

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product engineering or product architecture
• Familiarity with DRAM architectures, including LPDDR and/or DDR technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with memory subsystems in high-performance or AI/ML computing platforms
• Exposure to JEDEC or memory specification development processes
• Experience influencing system-level design decisions with customers or ecosystem partners
• Demonstrated technical leadership or mentoring experience
