Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a Principal Business Process Analyst to lead the most complex, high-impact transformation initiatives across stores, support functions, and enterprise operations. You will translate business strategy into actionable improvement plans and partner with senior leadership to drive growth, efficiency, and customer value.

This full-time role requires Six Sigma certification, extensive process analytics, and strong ability to influence executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of process improvement or process reengineering experience.
• Six Sigma Black or Master Black Belt certification required.
• Experience in data gathering, research and analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations.
• Experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models.
• Six Sigma, Lean, statistics, data analysis, and change leadership methodologies.
• Ability to document, propose, negotiate and present approaches and solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business needs to process or IT solutions.
• Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes.
• Experience with tracking, reporting and process mapping tools.
• Conflict management, influence, change management, and coaching skills.
• Ability to communicate information to a wide audience at all organization levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority cross-functional process improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and benefits realization.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that improve growth, efficiency, and customer/employee experience.
• Develop long-term process transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design future-state processes, operating models, governance, and performance measures.
• Evaluate performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
• Lead complex analyses to identify trends, gaps, root causes, and opportunities.
• Conduct financial, operational, risk, and business impact analyses to support decisions.
• Utilize metrics, predictive analysis, benchmarking, and statistics to support decisions.
• Lead diagnostic and process engineering with value stream mapping and simulations.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and change leadership to complex challenges.
• Translate findings into concise, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Establish implementation strategies, governance, success metrics, and executive reporting.
• Oversee implementation activities and post-implementation reviews for sustained results.
• Develop and facilitate training programs in process improvement.
