Job summary

Abnormal AI, Inc. is seeking a Principal, Pricing & Packaging to own how we price our platform. You’ll start with email security bundles and extend to new products with flexible pricing models, including consumption or credit-based approaches.

This is a cross-functional, senior role that collaborates with Sales Operations, Billing, and CPQ to implement decisions. You will continuously reassess pricing across our portfolio, influence senior stakeholders, and build a pricing cadence with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, packaging, or monetization for B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Proven end-to-end pricing ownership from recommendation to implementation.
• Experience with usage-based, consumption-based, or credit-pool models for AI/security products.
• Experience managing pricing across multiple products and revisiting live decisions.
• Strong quantitative skills to build pricing models and defend recommendations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Recommend packaging, pricing, and metering for email security bundles and new product lines.
• Choose pricing bases (count vs usage) and define units to prevent gaming.
• Continually review pricing across the portfolio and adjust to market changes.
• Build a pricing decision cadence with senior leadership and clear escalation paths.
• Lead implementation with Sales Ops, Billing, CPQ and contract teams.
• Train sales on pricing strategy and guardrails.
• Analyze pricing performance and benchmark against competitors.
• Use AI tools to model scenarios and speed up research.
