The Principal PreSales Solution Architect Role

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Presales Solution Architect to join our team. As a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales efforts by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to our potential clients. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to understand customer needs, demonstrate the value of our products and services, and architect tailored solutions to address specific client requirements. Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives. Assist in crafting compelling solutions and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings to potential clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing technical consultation and recommendations throughout the sales process. Offer insights and expertise to help clients make informed decisions and achieve their business goals.
  • Provide technical sales liaison with Product Engineering. Remain current with the product functions and features, and with alternative products in the market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge to remain at the forefront of technology innovation.
 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 
  • More than 5 years of technical experience, preferably in a software organization.
  • Proven ability to work with the sales team during all aspects of a sales cycle to facilitate the closing of large deals.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate software and articulate the technology during the sales cycle.
  • Confident attitude and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
  • Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and RDBMS.
  • Experience with replication or ETL tools along with CDC technology.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies.
  • Travel is required for this position.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $123,750 – $138,750 per year. This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $41,250 - $46,250 subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, skills, education, experience, and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
